Wildlife Enforcement Officers' Association Conference
Montana to Host 2008
On behalf of Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the Montana Game Wardens' Association, we wish to cordially invite you to attend the 27th Annual NAWEOA conference in Great Falls, Montana. Our theme for 2008 is "Back to the Beginning," an appropriate name as it was 27 years ago in Great Falls that a dedicated group of officers first met and formed NAWEOA. In those 27 years, the organization has grown to include more than 8000 officers and has remained international in scope and membership. This year?s conference, held in Montana?s hometown of the great western artist Charlie Russell, is in large part a tribute to those founding members.
At the same time, we will be looking towards the future with interesting and provocative sessions encompassing all aspects of resource law enforcement. We have put together a program that we believe will be valuable to you not only in the practical sense but also, in confronting the many social, political and logistical challenges of being an officer in the 21st Century. There will also be activities for family members during one of the best times of year to see Big Sky Country.
Please visit the website on a regular basis for more details and continuous updates and make your reservations early. We look forward to welcoming you to Montana - the Last Best Place.
Sincerely,

Bryan Golie, President
Montana Game Wardens' Association

Jim Kropp, Chief
Law Enforcement Division
